Silver for Rapids Peewee A
Submitted By mmasterson on Monday, February 3, 2020
The Rapids Peewee A took home silver medals from the 2020 London Devilettes tournament this past weekend.  After finishing first in their pool after round-robin play, the team defeated Barrie 4-0 in the quarter-finals and Detroit Belle Tire 2-0 in the semi-finals.  In the championship game, they ran into a very strong Markham-Stouffville team that defeated them 4-0.  Despite the tough loss, it was another impressive tournament showing for the team.  In four tournaments this year, they reached the finals each time, with the team bringing home two gold and two silver medals.  They’ll look to continue what has been a strong season when they open Lower Lakes playoffs next week. - T.J.
