Novice B, 2018-2019 (Niagara Girls Hockey Association)

The Novice B Rapids left the London Devilettes 29th Annual Tournament holding their heads held high as they represented Niagara the entire weekend. They worked hard in the Round Robin with a 1-1 tie against league rival, the Cambridge Roadrunners.  They continued on with a 3-1 win over Twin Centre Hericanes and a nail biting 1-0 win over the Huron Heat.  The team advanced to the Quarter Finals where they ended the tournament with a 4-0 loss to the home town London Devilettes. Congratulations to the Rapids Novice B team on celebrating a weekend of firsts while participating in the Kitchener Minor Hockey Fallfest Tournament . A couple of players recorded their first career goal, while the team celebrated their first gold medal.

The Novice B Rep Rapids participated in the Ancaster Fall Shootout this past weekend.  The girls played strong through the round robin, finishing with a 3-1 record.  Victories in round robin games came against Brantford 7-2, Ancaster 3-2 and Haldimand 3-2.  The lone loss came during game three of the round robin, a hard fought battle against North Simcoe, with a 4-0 score.  The girls missed competing in the championship game by a tie breaker rule (goals for) by only a few goals.
