GILLIAN'S PLACE HOLIDAY DRIVE
RAPIDS FAMILIES AND TEAMS ARE COLLECTING FOOD & NECESSARY ITEMS FOR GILLIAN'S PLACE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
Organized by our U18AA & U13BB Rep Teams the Niagara Rapids Association, its members and all of our teams will be donating and collecting necessities in support of
GILLIAN'S PLACE this holiday season!
Gillian's Place is o
ne of Ontario's first shelters for survivors of abuse and violence, providing safe refuge and non-residential programs that enable women, gender-and sexually-diverse folks and their children to break the cycle of violence for over 40 years.
The holiday drive begins this weekend and will continue until Sunday Dec 21st.
Items they are currently looking for are:
school snacks; slippers; single bed sheets; juice boxes; laundry detergent; pasta; pasta sauce; body wash; individually packaged oatmeal; towels; cereal; deodorant; canned fruit and vegetables; body wash; peanut butter and jam; towels; tuna; deodorant; instant noodles; cooking oil; crackers; popcorn; salad dressing
