OUR U9B TEAM BRINGS HOME SILVER AT THE SURVIVE THE HIVE TOURNAMENT IN OAKVILLE THIS PAST WEEKEND!
The Rapids started off the tournament with a 9-0 win against Guelph in game 1. In the afternoon game the Rapids faced off against Etobicoke and came away with a 4-2 win.
On Saturday they ended round robin play with a 7-0 win against Burlington to claim top spot in Pool B.
In the semi-final they had another crack at Oakville and booked their spot in the final with a convincing 5-1 win.
The Rapids matched up with Huron Heat in the final. It was a hard fought game and every inch was contended. Huron was able to score the only goal of the game to win 1-0.
