SILVER MEDAL FOR U9S AT ROC CITY FEST
OUR U9B TEAM WON THE SILVER MEDAL AT ROC CITY FEST IN ROCHESTER!
This past weekend our U9B Team participated in the Roc City Girls Fest in Rochester, NY and came away with Silver Medal Honours!!
The Rapids went 3-0 in round robin play beating Central Ohio 5-1, Oakville 4-3 (in a shootout) and Southtown Stars 6-3 to secure a spot in the semi-finals. Central Ohio was looking for redemption but the Rapids once again prevailed with a 4-0 win to book their place in the final against Oakville. It was a tight final that was back and forth until the final minutes when Oakville scored a couple goals late for a final score of 5-2.
A special shout to Rylee Knox for being chosen as one of the tournament MVPs!
On behalf of the Coaches, Parents and The Rapids Association we are very proud of the girls efforts and how they represented the Rapids! Congrats on winning the Silver Medal!
