Silver For MAA Rapids
The
Rapids Midget AA competed in the Buffalo Inferno tournament this past weekend
capturing silver. The ladies went undefeated in the round robin defeating North
Halton, St. Louis, Vaughan and New York. The Rapids eliminated St Louis, in a
semi final rematch 3-0 advancing to the final against Waterloo. Tied 1-1 after
regulation the Rapids played a 3 vs 3 overtime, controlling the puck and play.
Unfortunately the Rapids were unable to put the puck behind the Waterloo
goaltender in overtime, leading to a four round shoot-out defeat.
