Rapids Atom win the Silver medal in St. Thomas
Congratulations to the Rapids Atom HL team on winning the silver medal in the St. Thomas Panthers on the Prowl Tournament.
After two losses and a tie in the round robin, they won a thrilling game in overtime 2-1 against the London Golden Nights. Moving on to the semi -final game it was a nail biter against the Flamborough Falcons with a 1-0 win for the Rapids. In the final game against the host team we came up short with a 5-0 loss, capturing a silver medal.
The coaching staff and parents would like to recognize the hard work and determination the team possessed during the tournament.
A big thank you to the coaching staff, the parents and the team for a fantastic weekend filled with lots of excitement.
